How long are the tours?
Grand Canyon Bus Tours require a full travel day. GCS Rim total time is 15 hours (three hours in the national park), return at 10:00 PM. GCW Rim total time is about 12 hours (three and a half hours on the Hualapai Indian reservation), return at 5:00 PM.

Which Grand Canyon Tour is right for me?
If you want to go to on the Skywalk or you’re looking for a shorter day, then it’s GCW Rim. If you have no issues with time and want to see the original Grand Canyon, the national park, then it’s GCS Rim.

Is there a difference with GCS Rim versus GCW Rim?
Yes, GCS Rim is the widest and deepest part of the Grand Canyon; it is a national park, elevation is 7,200 feet above sea level with as much as a 20 degree lower temperature difference than the Las Vegas desert. GCW Rim is where the Skywalk attraction is (glass bridge extends out 70 feet), and is home of the Hualapai Indian Reservation, private land. GCW Rim is 4000 feet in elevation and the temperature runs about 10 degrees lower than Las Vegas. So certainly, each rim offers its own charm.

Skywalk Information: As a reminder, the GCW Rim Skywalk attraction is optional to buy at $25. It is recommended that you wait until you see it in person before you buy the ticket. Purchase of a Skywalk ticket can be made at the Skywalk desk.

Is a helicopter an option on a GCW Rim bus tour?
Yes, add $250 to tour bus price. It is called the Combo Tour (helicopter & boat). 10 minute flight down to the Colorado River, 20 minute pontoon float. Add $230 to bus tour price.

Do you stop at Hoover Dam?
Yes, the ride to Hoover Dam is about 40 minutes. The bus will let you out to take photos, all of about 15-20 minutes. Eventually, from the dam you will drive over the 890′ high Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge (concrete arch bridge, tallest in U.S.A, built 2010). Thus, from Hoover Dam to GCS Rim – four hours drive time with a stop on Route 66 in Arizona; Hoover Dam to GCW Rim – about two hours drive time.

What about food?
The price of the tour includes lunch. A morning snack is available. (it may or may not be complimentary).

What are the tour buses like?
The tour buses are deluxe motor coaches designed for passenger comfort. Buses equipped with panoramic windows, reclining seats, air conditioning, television monitors and bathroom. Most portable wheelchairs can be stored on the bus.

Will I be picked up at my hotel?
Most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip have complimentary pick up and drop off. Generally, Grand Canyon pick up times range from 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM. Please note that on some occasions, customers may be asked to walk a short distance to an alternate pick up spot or go to the nearest hotel to accommodate the tour bus.

Can weather be a factor?
Absolutely, but most Grand Canyon Bus Tours go every day. Arizona has one of the best climates in the U.S.A.

How do you pay for the tour?
You pay a seat deposit to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is paid when you have been picked up and accounted for. In addition, when your reservation is made, you will be notified who your tour provider is, receive a confirmation number, along with hotel pick up location and time.

What is the cancellation policy?
48 hour cancellation policy. In the event you do cancel, seat deposit is nonrefundable. However, if tour is cancelled by tour provider, deposit will be returned.
